Today's pulse-pounding senses-shattering action-packed Star Trek panels:

One of the interesting things about Star Trek fiction is that while everyone probably doesn't read or watch every spin-off, novel, game, or comic; there are certain source items that most have. Just about every fan has seen Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan, widely regarded as the best of the movies (so far, anyway...) and would fondly remember the Enterprise's battle with the hijacked U.S.S. Reliant. Which isn't pictured above, by the way. Or below:

The first scan is from Peter David's first run on DC's adaptation, and pictures a collision with the hijacked Zephyr, renamed the Renegade. The second is from Captain Pike's day, and the Cortez, hijacked by pre-Enlightenment Vulcans. Yeah, those Miranda class ships don't seem like the safest assignments...

Panels from Star Trek #50, (DC Comics, 1988) "Marriage of Inconvenience" Written by Peter David, pencils by Tom Sutton, inks by Ricardo Villagran; and Star Trek: Early Voyages #7, (Marvel, 1997) Written by Ian Edginton and Dan Abnett, pencils by Patrick Zircher, inks by Greg Adams.
